Obligations of the Client

The applicants and Client shall:

Certification Context

  • Provide accurate and complete information required for certification.
  • Ensure that products submitted for certification comply with applicable requirements.
  • Ensure implementation of any changes in certification requirements communicated by the Certification Body.
  • Inform the Certification Body of any changes affecting certified products.
Certification Context

  • Make all necessary arrangements for evaluation and surveillance activities (if applicable), including access to documentation, records, facilities, personnel, and subcontractors, as well as handling complaints and allowing the participation of observers when required.
  • Ensure that certified products under ongoing production continue to comply with the applicable requirements.
  • Not use product certification in a manner that brings the Certification Body into disrepute or make any misleading or unauthorized statements regarding the certification.
  • Upon, suspension, withdrawal, or termination of certification, the Client shall stop using all related advertising materials, comply with the certification scheme requirements (e.g. return of certificates), and take any other required actions.
Certification Context

  • If the Client provides copies of certification documents to others, they shall be reproduced in full or as specified in the certification scheme.
  • comply with Certification Body and certification scheme requirements when referring to product certification in any communication media (e.g. documents, brochures, or advertising).
  • comply with any requirements that may be prescribed in the certification scheme relating to the use of marks of conformity, and on information related to the product;
  • maintain records of all complaints related to certification compliance, make them available to the Certification Body upon request, take appropriate corrective actions for any identified nonconformities, and document all actions taken.
